While I was working on this mixed media collage, I couldn't help but think back on my childhood and my beloved doxies. Today I've got three beautiful mutts following me around the studio and offering their own special brand of daily inspiration—mostly in the form of insisting that I take more breaks outside to run around and play. The artwork above is a snapshot of a recent project, a new mixed media collage with my dog sketches, watercolors and flowers from my backyard.
